Lazarus House -- Coming Alive from the Dead!
Lazarus House is the first House for a one to three year process of learning to live as a disciple of Christ. The goal of Lazarus House to abundant LIFE, not just recovery. We desire that residents will learn to truly live life in the freedom and power of God.
Lazarus House is founded on the belief that when a man is impacted by the God of the universe, he is brought from death to life and made completely new and righteous in Christ. Men learn to live out this New Creation life in Christ, Being All You Were Created to Be
Lazarus House is not a recovery house. It is a discipleship house. Residents of Lazarus house desire to learn from God. We believe men who come through this house will find life and learn to live in the freedom obtained for them by Jesus Christ. We desire to see men become life-long learners and lovers of God, becoming fully contributing members of society once again.
We believe God, as He is revealed in the Bible, sets any person free who comes to Him in faith. The Gospel of Jesus Christ is the power of God for the transformation of a human life. We are free in Him to live an abundant, celebrating life in Christ. No person is too messed up. No person has done too much wrong. All can be transformed by God and brought into wholeness and health.
Program: Our program is based on the Bible and the 8 Keys to Life found in the Living in the Celebrating Life book. Living in the Celebrating Life is a discipleship book that outlines the basic building blocks of the Christian faith. The focus is the gospel of Jesus Christ.
Program LengthResidents stay in the House for 90 days to learn the foundational doctrines of the Christian faith as revealed in the Bible.
